I'm listing multiple high quality dog food brands because if I just pick one you may not be able to find it in your area - these are all great foods so don't feel pressured to choose one over another. High quality pet foods are, unfortunately, usually harder to find than low quality foods. Bring this list to some pet stores to see what's available and go from there; I can just about guarantee you you're not going to find a pet store that carries all these brands. You may want to ask if they have free samples available so you can try a few brands before buying a big bag.

My dogs love their Timberwolf Organics Wild and Natural or Wilderness Elk and Salmon.
And my pups Love their Orijen puppy food.

Good question. It used to be that Iams was a great food, but since going to the supermarkets, the quality has dropped. After all that scare with the contaminated pet foods of virtually every brand, I found that Pedigree, both the dry and canned varieties are safe, relativly inexpensive and my basset hound loves it. I mix both the moist and dry and have him on Pedigree Lean formula.

My favourite: Go natural grain free formula, it's really well balanced, tastes great, keep the dog's bowel in excellent working condition and has no byproducts or bad quality stuff.

I think Canidae is the best. Or Royal Cainin. They are both pretty Good though.

Nutro is a really great diet and I actually think it is better then Science diet and all the other diets that are suposidly high up there. It contains ingredients that make an animal look and feel so much better. Good luck
