THe brake lights are out. I do not know which fuse in the fuse box is for the brake lights. Is there someone that has one that can tell me which one it is.

Pull one fuse at a time and look at it. You can see through the transparent fuse body if it is blown. Another cause of brake light failure is the switch operated by the brake pedal. That switch is mounted under the dash next to the brake pedal mechanism.

please don't pull all the fuses out to check them... had too many do that and didn't like me when I charged them 2 hours at $80/hour to put fuses back...
download the owners manuals at either the car stereo site or ethels Motorcraft site (they are both the same manual)
Usually however, the switch goes out and you have no brake lights (all lights out in back.... if third brake light operates, it's usually the turn signal switch)
Even if it's a fuse, I'd have it checked out as the switches go out from time to time

call the Ford dealer and ask the partsman to look it up for you and while he's at it have him order you a new owners manual.
