Straight out... NO!

You are literally starving yourself to death. 1500-1800 calories for a runner your age would be the minimum necessary for you to continuing growing and developing properly. Besides starving yourself you are actually setting yourself up for a lifetime of weight problems by not eating enough. When your body senses it is being starved it slows the metabolism and this can be PERMANENT if it goes on long enough.

Yes, your mother should take you to both a doctor and a psychiatrist because you, my dear, either have an eating disorder or are headed in that direction.

At your height and weight you are not overweight and should not be trying to lose a single ounce.

PLEASE... wake up before you ruin your health and the rest of your life.

Jenny may have not been the most polite person but she is right. Her answer also has nothing to do with the category. You are asking this in the vegan/vegetarian section and talking about eating meat...that alone can get you snotty answers galore. Maybe you should be asking this in the health category. To get enough calories you HAVE to eat more food. Eat the whole darn banana, add another slice of toast and a glass of almond, soy or rice milk for your breakfast. Instead of having all those veggies for lunch(which most all are so low in calories they are considered free foods in diabetic and weight watchers diets and don't even have to be counted), add some beans, pasta, rice etc and have fewer veggies. Eat the whole darn banana, add another slice of toast and a glass of almond, soy or rice milk. Skip the mushrooms at dinner and add a baked potato. That will give you potassium, vitamin C and carbs which you also need more of.

You don't need to lose weight
87 lbs is okay for a 4 foot 7 person.

And hun you're only getting in around 500 calories
Anything under 800 calories is starvation and that's anorexic territory

When I was anorexic, I ate MORE than you and I was still diagnosed.

No, you are not.

What's more you are going to ruin your metabolism; your body thinks you are starving.

You need, at least, 1500 calories until until you finish growing.
There is no way that you can get all the nutrients you need eating so little.

Your mom should probably take you to the doctors, for the sake of your health.

You need more calories
especially since you are so active
and 140 calories for breakfast is not nearly enough
your body is literally starving in the morning. try to get at least 3 times that much calories for that first meal of the day.
you can eat fairly light for the rest of the day if thats what you want.
but eat more breakfast please

Your body is not going to develop properly. Your brain cells will die. Your bones will lose mass. You will eventually be weak and unattractive and you'll wind up with physical and mental handicaps, if you don't die prematurely. In other words, your mom is right. You have a serious problem called "anorexia." See a doctor and follow his/her advice before it's too late.

Yes you are under your caloric intake. You need at least 1500 calories, especially because you're running and expending alot of them. Your body needs more fuel than this.

That is no where near enough calories especially with the amount of physical activity you do. You really need to start eating more before you make yourself really sick.

Since you are a cross country runner, you should be eating some more than just that. It's not healthy.

I hope you are kidding. You are malnourished. At your age, it is harming your development of all systems of the body, including the brain. Eat more.
