Does your dog have long ears and a twitchy nose? You have a rabbit! The guy at the pet shop ripped you off!

OK, here is the deal. I have an American Pit Bull Terrier that has food allergies, like no meat. I asked the Vet about treats. The Vet said baby carrots. So every morning when I drink my coffee and read the paper my four dogs get carrots as treats.

Most veggies are good for dogs...and most dogs love them. I feed Roo, our dachshund, baby carrots as treats...she prefers them to dog biscuits...and they are not made in China. Roo also loves mild red peppers, the sweet kind...not spicy.
There are a few veggies to avoid. Onions, for one, are poisonous to canines. And of course, chocolate is a no no for the same reason.
For dinner Roo gets very thick homemade chicken soup/stew made of breast of chicken, baby carrots, and French beans. I sprinkle powdered dog vitamins on top the stew. Roo is 75 yo in people terms, but on this diet, she is healthy and active like a puppy. And, again, the food is not from China. The cost per serving is about the same as a higher priced prepared dog food...like Mighty Dog.

Mine does too and there's no problem with it. If your dog likes carrots give her some as a treat but not too much cause she might get gas.

It's ok that your dog likes carrots, they are actually good for her! They are a much healthier treat than a milkbone. (Milkbones etc. are just like candy bars for dogs, sugar, fat and food coloring)

most dogs like things because their owners like them. just like little kids like things their parents do just because their parents like them. your dog is normal. my dog likes carrots too.
