It's not the same because it has alot of chemicals in it, just like diet soda does. If you've been drinking regular soda it will be an improvement b/c there wont be as much sugar but the artifical sweetner in flavored water can upset your stomach in large amounts. I would reccomend regular water or smart water, and you could mix it up with some of those crystal light lemonade packets that you put in your water bottle. Flavored water is better for you than soda, though, because it will hydrate you better and doesn't have caffeine. Still, the real deal is the best way to go in terms of fluids. Hope that helped!

I have never really liked plain water. Because I understand that adequate daily hydration is required for the continuation of my good health, my fluid intake is in the form of milk, coffee, iced tea, and flavored water. (and/or a beer or two). It seems to work. If you drink regular soda, you are getting a lot of sodium, (not too good). If the soda is regular sugar laden soda, you are getting a lot of extra empty calories that have a strong potential to cause a weight gain. Heck, just drink flavored water. I get those little single bottle packets of sugar free flavoring and put them in my water. It has solved my reluctance to drink water.

Flavored water usually has some sugar or artificial sweetener added, though less than in sodas. Look at the calories - if it has more than 1 calorie than something chemical was added!
It is easy to make your own flavored water with a drop of lemon, a leaf of mint, an herbal tea bag, etc. I use plane filtered tap water.

plain water is the best thing for the body. but if you used to drink sodas all the time it is best if u start out with flavored water then go to plain water for now... cuz i had the same problem and i hated the taste of plain water after being so used to the sugar in the sodas
hope that helps!

I would say to start drinking the flavored water first to ween you off of the sodas so that you wont be tempted to drink the sodas. Then gradually start drinking the water and then stay with the water. And if you trying to lose weight distilled water is the best .
everything takes time...

Dear young man, The water company in my opinion is making money just from regular drinking water but if you want to buy flavor non carbonated water yes OK.

water has got to be the healthiest thing you can drink. as long as you avoid aspartame you should be ok with flavored water. what i'd reccomend is adding a touch of lemon to your water. straight filtered water however is great for you cleans your system and provides you two of the most common elements your body needs. Although it doesn't taste as good water is better.

Probaly plain water because flavored water might have some sugar added to it and plain water doesn't have any added sugar. So I would say plain water. But flavored water is really good :-) !

Plain water would be better if the flavored water has sugar (or sugar substitutes) in it. Either is much healthier than colas.
