I would be willing to bet a large sum of my own hard earned money that the answer to your question is YES! Unfortunate as it is. . .

OH, my bad, I thought I wrote that check to Ted Danson.
I hate it when that happens.
Really though, any televangelist who harps viewers into sending money, has a flock of people who are gullible.
Jesus did not charge for his teachings. And neither should anyone else. Guilting people into giving of their money, when all God and Jesus asked for was our time is shameless greed.
Jim Baker lived high on the hog, and so do all these other charlatans.
While their flock contains many who are on the verge of losing everything, they junket around the earth on private planes schmoozing with the politicians, and even trying to influence governmental policies.
These people were clearly prophesied as those who have committed fornication with the kings of the earth in the book of Revelation.
Yet their day is coming, and they will at once be stripped of their farce of religion, and their facade will come down to reveal the pathetic parasites that they are.

If Christians would pay more attention to their Bibles and less to the false teachers, fake healers and false prophets that Jesus warned everybody about, then they would never be deceived by money hungry tele-evangelists and false gospel preaching mega-churches in the first place!

Whenever I hear a question like this, it always brings to mind that people voted for George W Bush...twice.

I think we're about to find out.
I hear Jimmy Swaggart is back a-preachin'. Apparently anything is possible.
