It really depends on what Pagan belief you are talking about, some have a significance for it, while most do not have a specific correspondence to it. It might be kind of nice and interesting, but does not always have a specific meaning. It also depends on the sign of the moon at the time too. There are different astrological correspondences for moon signs and phases. You might want to try looking these up as well,

many babies are born on the fullmoon..the moon affects the tides and we are mostly water even before we are 9 mospregnant.
