I don't know if this is the recipe you're asking about, but it's delicious.

7-Up Pineapple Cream Salad

1 cup 7-Up
1/4 # (2-1/2 cups) mini marshmallows
1 3 oz. pkg. lime jello
6 oz. cream cheese - softened
1 T. lemon juice
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained (2-1/4 cups)
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups Cool Whip

Combine 7-Up and marshmallows in top of double boiler or in microwave safe dish. Heat slowly until marhmallows are melted, stirring occasionally. Add lime gelatin. Stir mixture until dissolved. Put cream cheese in medium bowl. Add hot mixture slowly to cream cheese and beat until smooth. Add lemon juice, a few drops of green food coloring if desired, pineapple (with juice) and walnuts. Chill until partially set and thick. Fold in whipped cream. Blend thoroughly. Pour into oiled 2 quart mold or individual molds. Refrigerate until firm. Garnish with frosted grapes and sliced pineapple if desired.
