No.
If your BMR is 1200 calories/day and you consume 1200 calories per day (while doing little more than just sitting on the couch), your weight would remain the same.
It takes a 3500 calorie DEFICIT to lose a pound.

For one thing you ain't gonna burn off 1200 cals just sitting on the couch you might burn 400 cals. So I'm going to say no it's not the same by only eating 1200 cals, even tho your body needs 2000,2500 calories in a day your still going to gain some weight . Besides if you don't exercise your skin and body is going to start getting flabby cause your going to start losing muscle tissues.

you may lose weight on the scale but not necessarily fat.
the calories required by the BMR is only enough to supply the body with nutrients and calories for the biological functions that sustain life. if you are physically active on a regular basis you may need to increase the cals above what the BMR requires just to lose body fat.

good you want a unique quantity of energy in step with day in your frame to simply do its average services, like respiring. So i woudlnt propose consuming simply one thousand thats very low. Try to get a little bit activity in daily, or three occasions per week on the fitness center or whatever, you can shed pounds so much quicker via consuming more fit and understanding a little bit, then simply chopping energy. Also in the event you consume too little, your frame will move into hunger mode and you're going to honestly begin turning the whole thing your consuming instantly into fats because your frame is storing any meals for later purpose its no longer definite while you're going to consume once more. So, consuming that little can placed you in hunger mode for you to honestly do the reverse of what you wish. Exercise additionally releases endorphins which make you joyful, and who doesnt wanna be joyful!?

To lose weight, you'll need to burn MORE calories then you take in. If you burn the same amount as you take in, your weight will stay the same.
