is not true that a child has no sin; what about original sin?

I have been taught that children whio die "before the age of accountability" (in other words before they are old enough to understand their choices) go directly to live with Heavenly Father. I hang tight to that belief because my 3rd son died at 3 weeks old of an undetected birth defect. There is no way a kind heavenly father would punish him. I truly believe that he is sent directly to God. I think that he was special enough that he dif not need to come to earth to be tested, to endure the trials of this life. Instead he was able to skip all that and go back to Gad.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but i have a pretty good idea of what you want to know, so i'll do my best to explain it to you.
Ok, when God first created the earth, and Adam and Eve, there was no sin in the world. There was no sickness, no death, no disease, no destruction, no murder.....and so on. But when man fell, when adam and eve were deceived and when adam took a bite of the apple off of the tree that God said not to eat from, sin then came into the world. However, as far as the children go...they aren't old enough to have accountability for themsleves. They don't know what sin is. They are innocent in their minds and their hearts, so when children pass on, they automatically have a place in heaven. Their minds are too simple to understand and to know sin. We, on the other hand, KNOW. We know it's bad to kill, rape, steal, lie, cheat, and so on. When we do things like this, we know it's wrong, and we have to hold ourselves accountable. It doesn't matter if one or both or none of the parents are born again. Children cannot hold themselves accountable. I hope this helps you out, and you understand. Good luck and God Bless.

A child may be born with a sin nature...you do not have to teach one how to lie...we do it all very easily without being taught to do it, however a baby or child until they are at the "age of accountability" is innocent, that may differ from child to child, only God knows when a person understand right from wrong...one may understand it at 5 another maybe not until they are 8 so that is a "gray" area, but Jesus died and atoned for all sins and God is a just God he will not send a baby who knew no better to hell because he/she may have lied to his mom when she asked "did you do that" God loves his creation and it is his will for ALL men to come to repentance.

It doesn't matter if the parents are born again Christians or not. Children, up to the age of accountability go to Heaven. The age of accountability is when they are old enough to understand about Jesus and why He died on the cross, and about accepting them as their Lord and Savior. So, the age will vary depending on the individual. The Jewish age of accountability is 13, I believe, but I believe it is up to God whether the child is ready or not. All babies go to Heaven, it doesn't matter what their parents believe.

I don't understand your question, but a child up until a certain age is safe, they are not accountable for their sins. Most churches feel the age of accountability is between 8 and 12. For example, a baby, if he dies goes to Heaven as they are not capable of sinning. Your parents being saved can't save you, your salvation is a choice you have to make for yourself.

Whether you're a baby, or a very old person, everyone goes to the same place upon death....that is, the grave. If you read the Bible carefully, you'll discover that when one dies, they become non-existent, with only the hope of a future resurrection to come back to life. In the mean time, there are no feelings, no memories, no concept of the passage of time. Kind of like a very deep sleep. When the dead are resurrected, they'll feel like they just closed their eyes for only a second, yet many, many years had passed. It does'nt matter if you have parents that are believers or not. It's the same for everyone.
Who gets resurrected? That's up to God to decide. Those that don't make it, stay dead forever. Death pays for our sins. Those that come back, will have perfect bodies and live forever on Earth, with the exception of a select few that will go to heaven to rule with Christ.
There is no burning Hell. That's just a man-made concept in order to scare people into religion.

All children who die go to heaven.

There was a person who recently went to heaven (out of body experience) He saw his son across the river. And talked to him, but had to go back to earth & continue his ministry to help the street gangsters. And, before coming down, he saw children from around the world & he asked Jesus about these children. These children were in three groups & they were from all nations & all colors. Jesus said that the one group were children who were killed wars & sickness & diseases. And the other group were aborted children whose parents didn't believe in Jesus. And the other group were aborted from Church going people who believed the way of the world. That Jesus gave them these children & they gave them back to him. (So? I think they are waiting for their parents.)

Children are born with a conscience & under the spiritual care of their guardian angels, so go t heaven. Conscience is sort of a type of spirituality.

With purposeful rebellion of God, is hardened conscience & spiritual blindness/death. Jesus said that to see the Kingdom of God you must be born again. Also, elsewhere Jesus said the children who loved him were an example of the Kingdom of heaven.

All Abortions, Baby's and Children Under the Age of Accountability get their Spirits Recreated (are Saved) by GOD and are Taken to Heaven.

The Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ has a really good answer for this question:

Baptism for the dead (see 1 Peter 4:6 and 1 Corinthians 15:29) was performed by the early Christian church, to enable salvation for those who did not learn about Jesus in this life. This ordinance has been restored to the earth and is now practiced only in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

But even LDS do not do proxy baptism for children who have died before the age of 8. All children who die before the age of accountability (usually about 8 years old) are saved in God's kingdom, regardless of any kind of baptism or belief.

"Little children are alive in Christ, even from the foundation of the world" (see Moroni 8:10-14 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/moro/8/5,10-14,20,22#5 )

EDIT: All little children are saved from original sin through the grace of Jesus Christ... as we all are. It is only our own personal sins that can condemn us in eternity, if we fail to apply the atonement of Jesus Christ.

That has nothing to do with it at all.

There is a thing that I believe in called the age of accountability, and that is when you are old enough to be able to understand right from wrong, and things like that...

In other words, everyone comes into this world with their name in the book of life, and when they sin it is scratched out, but can be written in the book again...
