Bristol is like a roller derby being played with 21/2 + ton cars travelling at around 135 miles per hour.

Why? Because these dudes are hauling the mail at such a rapid rate that a wreck anywhere on the track — even a full lap ahead — can come up on them in a split second. That's what happens when you put 43 fire-breathing 3400-pound racecars into a blender and hit puree for three hours.

i once saw a magazine ad that compared the Bristol Nascar race like a "Bull in a China Shop"... the track being the china shop and the cars being the bulls...
