yes, green tea can "aid" in weight loss and weight management but it must be consumed in sufficient quantity and regularly for it to have an effect. in terms of weight loss green tea helps to inhibit fats consumed in the diet from being digested. this would be a positive effect for a person with a very high fat diet and it would cause a negative effect on a person with a low fat diet. there is a certain amount of dietary fats that are needed by the body in order for it to function properly. green tea also helps to increase lipid metabolism. basically lipid metabolism is the process where stored fats in the body are transported to muscle tissue where they are utilized for energy.
you would want to consume at least 3 cups daily along with following a healthy diet and regular exercise program.

Yes. And here is why. Not just green tea, but most teas, irritate your stomach and curb your appetite. It does not irritate it in a way that would make you feel sick, but it stops the tummy from telling you that you are hungry. They are not unhealthy and are certainly yummy. They have vitamins and antioxidents and are frequently used for "cleansings", meaning that when someone makes a commitment to get in shape, tea is great for helping us "clean out". Not just what you are thinking, but of other toxic stuff in our systems. Tea can be highly caffeinated, so pay attention. If you drink tea before a meal, you will find yourself less hungry and that is the weightloss key assuming that it is a healthy meal in the first place and you are getting exercise.

No, not true, I only ever drink green tea, but it does help clean your system out and keeps you healthy on the inside, try out green tea with other flavor's added, its also a myth that green tea has no caffeine, it has, unless you buy the caffeine free green tea, so check the box. Drinking 3 cups of green tea a day, has wonderful benefits for you and that's a fact.

technically it does not help you lose weight as such, but it is a diuretic and therefore will help you pass excess water and if your drinking more fluid your body feels fuller so you don't eat as much.
plus there is no milk or sugar, so basically just water so almost calorie free, plus there is all the running to the loo.
so kind of

I've never heard of that before!
You should try it out and see.
If not, just do sit-ups everyday if you REALLY need to lose weight. Don't obsess or over do it though. Good luck!
