I love chocolate, and i have this chocolate bunny made by lindt, unfortunately it's five years expired. What would happen if I ate it?

I've never had chocolate around for five days...five years...I wouldn't chance food posioning. Toss it and go buy a nice new piece of wonderful chocolate and enjoy with the peace of mind knowing you won't get sick. (unless you eat a very large amount that is)

That's soooo far out of date. It would probably taste bitter. Chocolate more than a few months old usually starts to show white patches. Ditch it now!

Nothing. Probably a little dry and chalky. No where near as good as it would be if fresh. But it won't hurt you - unless the packaging has gotten moist or been altered in some way that would affect the insides.

Well if it is milk chocolate, No way. Try donating it to an antique shop i'm sure that they would take it! Or a scientific lab They may just find a new species of fungus, Who knows!!

lol don't eat it! You'll get a major tummy ache. If you don't have anything to do for 24 hours and a trusty bottle of Peptobismal (sp?) then eat it, otherwise... go to the store and get a new chocolate bunny.

You will have ingested a lot of bad calories and received no chocolate pleasure.
THROW IT OUT and go buy a couple dollars worth of something fresh that you can enjoy while it seeks out your hips.
