Crash dieting is never good for you and you can't lose three pounds in a day. If you generally went to lose weight, talk to a health professional about the best way to go about it.
Depending on your starting weight you should only lose around 2lbs a week as anything else is crash dieting which means as soon as you stop dieting your body hordes the fat and you put on weight.
I know this isn't the answer you wanted but it is the sensible answer. anyone advising you to lose 3lbs in a day is obviously someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

i dont know about easy or healthy... i once saw an army recruiter give a young man a bottle of magnesium citrate (i believe that is what it was called). you can get it at any drug store. it's basically a laxative. yeah i know, not healthy or easy right... got the job done though!
wrestlers do whats called cutting weight and they do it by basically sweating all the water the can out of their bodies. also not healthy but works. so i guess what i am telling you is there isn't a healthy way to lose weight quickly. you shouldn't be worried about 3 pounds anyway. i dont know that anyone would even notice if you lost it. do it right lose a pound a week and keep eating healthy and exercising.

Well a starvation diet would work. That's the only way I know
to loose pounds that fast. And you could eat only foods with
alot of bran and fiber also. So they'ed go right through you,
rather than go into fat storage.
Realistically, you can't loose three pounds in any day, unless
you just don't eat anything and stay on liquids. If you want to lose, just eat less of anything. Reduce your daily amount by half, and you will loose, but by the week, not by the day. And you'll have to increase your exercise also. That's a given fact.

It is pretty hard to lose 3 pounds in 1 day. Pretty much impossible.
But you can start to lose a little weight by starting to eat healthier. For example, for dessert, have a fruit smoothie made with the real fruit of your choice, non-flavored yogurt, and ice. If you're hungry for a snack, have fruit or vegetables. Make "Ants on a Log". You may think it's a "kiddie" snack, but it's very good for you and tasty. For dinner, eat things with less fat and less calories.
Exercise a lot and drink lots of water.
DO NOT STOP EATING!!!
studies have shown that you start gaining weight at first when you stop eating. there is NO HEALTHY WAY TO STOP EATING!!

Err... there's certainly a way to lose about 1 pound but I won't talk about that!
You can't lose 3 pounds in a day but some exercise will help get you toned, exfoliating will make your skin look better too.

It's true that you cannot lose 3 lbs in a day. However, drinking 8, 8 oz glasses of water daily will allow you to lose about 5 lbs of water weight in a week and keep it off. Well, to keep it off you will have to keep drinking that water on a daily basis. I know it sounds like drinking all of that water will make you gain water weight but it actually works the other way around. When your body isn't getting enough water it throws your electrolytes off balance which causes your sodium (salt) among others to become more concentrated and helps you to retain water. When you drink the amount of water that your body needs it will release excess water and it will all flow through you normally.

It takes me to lose that much in a week. That's impossible to lose 3 lbs/day in a healthy way. You should just eat fruits, and stay away from junk food. Also, excercise more.

a 3 pound loss of bodyweight in one day would only be water weight and there would mostly likely be no visible change in the body and definetly no loss of body fat. rapid weight loss will always result in nothing more than the loss of water as nutrients are metabolized for energy.
