It's actually not really a yarmulka. He cuts up his sister's bras and gets two (with chin-straps).

Anyway, other than his head, where ELSE would he wear a yarmulka?

It is not a yarmulke, it is a zuchetto. The zucchetto (plural zucchetti, Italian for "small gourd"), also called pileolus, is a small skullcap worn by clerics of the Roman Catholic Church and within Anglicanism (the Episcopal Church in the U.S.). It was first adopted for practical reasons — to keep the clergy's tonsured heads warm in cold, damp churches — and has survived as a traditional item of dress. It consists of eight panels sewn together, with a stem at the top. Its name may derive from its resemblance to half of a pumpkin, or from the fact that it covers a larger "pumpkin" (the head).

The skullcap worn by the Catholic clergy is called a zucchetto.

All Catholic clergy are entitled to wear the zucchetto.
+ The Pope's zucchetto is white
+ Cardinals are red
+ Bishops are purple
+ Priests and deacons are black

Some think that Zucchettos go back to when clerics shaved the center of their heads into a tonsure. Zucchettos would help keep thier heads warm.
