Qur’an 9:5 “When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, torture them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”
Sura 9:29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His apostle nor acknowledge the religion of truth (even if they are) of the People of the Book until they pay the Jizya with willing submission

That is a tough one. I believe in free speech and the right for people to worship as they choose but the Quran is a book that calls for the killing of people who are not followers of Isalm (I do not know about the raping women part). I think the problem is how extremist Muslims are interpreting the Quran and education to help eradicate extremism should take place in the Muslim community (as well as all religion). It is the Muslim extremists that are the problem. Not the average Muslim.

Have you actually read it? Or are you going by someone else's word? The Qur'an preaches toleration towards people of other faiths and asks its followers to seek modus vivendi with others but it declares that Islam is the only religion acceptable to God. Don't blame the Qur'an. It's the idiots that twist it to their own satisfaction and warped beliefs. Same as every other religious text. It's like blaming the Bible because of Jim Jones. It isn't the book, it's the interpreter.

I think Koran should be banned because of its teachings about terrorizing the non-believers. That can't be helped, you know what I mean.
Although not all Muslims are terrorists but then their book does not discourage such action which is inviting to fundamentalists and radicals.
If not, at least ERASE the passages where it mentions hatred for non-believers and start fresh from there.

I don't think you or that stupid Dutch MP read Quran. Quran does not order any where in it to kill all non-Muslims. You simply believe every lie and false propaganda broadcasted on your tv's by the enemies of Islam. God says in Quran, "killing one human is like killing all human race". Killing an innocent is a serious crime and God will burn such a killer in hell. In Muslim countries where Islamic law is observed, the killer is killed soon after he confessions his crime is proven to be guilty.
Yes there are people who misguide young boys to kill enemies of Muslims by encouraging them to do so hoping that non-Muslims will end killing Muslims or to avenge killings of Muslims like in Palestine and Iraq.
It doesn't seem to bather you that Christians have killed over million Muslims in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Kashmir in last four or five years. Does Christian religion commands Christians to kill so many human beings?

Well don't think he read the Qur'an, same for those here who say that they are for the banning stuff......
Terrorizing non believers????
How the heck does Qur'an encourage that, while a verse order us clearly to respect freedom of religion choice, and nvr kill or terrorize, since killing one soul is like killing humanity, a gr8 sin leading straight to hell
