If you are running for weight loss then you need to consider what you are eating. Running 2 miles only burns about 200 calories, it takes 3500 calories to gain or lose 1 pound. You need to keep track of everything you eat and drink and see how many calories you are consuming. It is good that you have begun to eat healthy foods, but everything contains calories. Even if you have gained some weight at least you are in better condition than you were before you started running.
