She probably is. Parents have a way of seeing things that kids miss. But by doing this he is having the opposite effect of what he hoped. He is driving you to her probably long after you would have lost interest on your own.

That is not normal beahviour by a father and shows absolute disrespect and ignorance. I would suggest you stand up for your girlfriend the next time your father uses such revolting language to refer to the person you care about. Ask him why he finds it necessary to refer to you girlfriend as a prostitute. Even if his reasons are valid (ie he saw her being pimped out), it does not give him any right to use that type of language without offering an explanation. I would ask him to refrain from using the term an dtell him you don't appreciate it.
If all else fails and your father proves too ignorant to understand the repercussions of his choice of language and is incapable of reasining I would suggest giving him a tatste of his own medicine. In his presence, refer to your father using an equally offensive word. Also, when your gf is over, embarass him by pointing out to your gf he calls her skank, see how he reacts-see if he has the balls to tell it to her face. I assure you he will be mortified.

OMG, I misread your question, I thought you said he calls HIS girlfriend a skank. I would suggest that you ask him to stop referring to her as a skank, that's not very nice. Maybe he's testing you to see how you feel about her. If you really care for her, ask him to stop:~)

ask him why he calls her a skank. it might because of something she did, or the way she dresses, acts.... just ask.

nothing you can do........she probably is a skank....better him telling you than somebody else.....if your family doesn't like her then you need to find yourself a new girlfriend.

Yeesh what a fatherly thing to say... if you don't think he is right then tell him that he has no right to judge her if he doesn't know her.
