I have an 8-year-old yellow lab (sweetest dog in the world, btw). She's not a normal lab; she's afraid of the water, she's not that smart, and her vet diagnosed her with OCD, but I've noticed this behavior to be odd. She's getting kinda old, almost 9, but she can be full of energy one minute, then be laying on the floor sighing. Is this normal with labs?

Sounds like a normal DOG to me. LOL!! They do what they do, they are dogs. Sweet, lovable, huffy, smart, stupid; they change from day to day. Just love your dog however it is. They love you unconditionally, so don't worry about it.
