OK - this is now the following evening and the same 4 houses have BBQs in their garden. Don't they get as sick of eating the badly cooked cheap cuts of meat as I do SMELLING them being cooked.
I DO like the idea of a catch your own barbie on the beach - shame I'm so far from the sea!

P.S. Tried a rain dance - didn't seem to work here - maybe it's working for someone else though!

Ah Ah another BBQ going on? Have one of yours and cook sardines. That'll teach them ;-)

Yes, just been up the garden with my dog, and there is a stench of BBQ's in the air.My dog was having a good sniff.I can also hear the local pub's music and drunks singing along.They seem to be having a ball.

i didnt as i went around to my mates & we all went to the beach 4 a bbq best way catch wash it eat it n all the smells stay @ the beach all we had to do was throw the dispsable bbq's in the bin @ the harbour n bring home the empty bottles

Yes and it's gross. I hate BBQ's!!

Update: Friendly little tip for RobinLu. Get a map of Europe and have a look. It's remarks like yours that give Americans a bad name!

Not this weekend as the Minister does not normally arrange witch burnings in August as many people are on holiday and miss the examples made of those convicted of witchcraft or heresy.
