Hi. What is the difference between 'ghosts' and 'spirits'?

ghosts r like the spirit of a dead person, especially one believed to appear in bodily likeness to living persons or to haunt former habitats.

spirits r like the soul regarded as seperating from the body at death.

Spirits can go to different dimensions, they have accepted their death and transcended to the other side. When they come to visit, usually they are harder to see than a ghost because they are from another dimension. I have seen and felt there presence since are four, and most of the times they were spirits. Spirits usually hint more at first because they don't want to scare you. But there are good and bad spirits, I only came in contact with one bad one.

Ghost, usually they don't realize that they are dead, that's why at first they are seen a lot, until they transcend. and some don't, for one reason or another, some can haunt a place for hundreds of years not knowing that they are dead. Ghost are usually easier to be seen, and in detail, because they are still in this dimension.

Imprints are like ghost, but basically left over energy, that replays itself. I ran into this once.

There is a thing called live ghost..... to where if you can see it, a persons spirit that comes out of ones body while they sleep, also called, astral projection, astral travel, and out of body experiences, I've done this about four times. Some people can mistake it for a ghost, if able to see someones spirit.

Kinetic energy, often can be confused with a haunting. Some people are gifted with this energy and untrain on how to use it, while asleep their energy can move things around as they are unconscious, qualifying it as another phenomenon.

They can include the anima of humans, animals, objects, or collective ideas or places. They can also include supernatural beings, such as fairies, demons, Gods, etc.

From what I've read, most people say ghosts are those spirits that cannot move on when they die. Either they don't believe in an afterlife or they feel tied to where they were very strongly. We are all spirits-just inhabiting a body for awhile.

As fare as Christianity goes there is no difference they are both demons. The bible tells us it is appointed once for a man to die then judgment. So if we see a ghost or a spirit we know it is a demon. Sometimes people say well I know it was my dead mother because it knew things only my mother would know. These people have forgotten or do not know that there are like garden angels demons that watch us all the time. they know our words and actions. So they can pretend to be a dead relative by saying this we thought only that person knows. We should never try and talk with ghosts or spirits, really they are demons telling us lies.

In standard mythology the difference would normally be.

A spirit is alive and part of something living: You have a spirit animals have spirits. But spirits don't have to have ever had a body.

A Ghost is the remnant of something that has died: A ghost is the spirit of something which once had a life and a physical body.

I have studied and experienced both and many many people confuse the two

ghosts are what is called residual energy , this is an energy that remains on the atmosphere of what once was
a person doesn't even have to die for their ghost to remain
it is just a recording of events that play on and on until new energy is given to the place over a period of time
it is not a conscious energy

spirit is the part of us that live on after death , this is a conscious energy and can and does communicate with mediums
