Hello chum, Im an Englishman living in the states.

Tea......tea....tea, tea tea,,, loverly....tea.

Let me tell you about tea...

Once, when tea was first introduced to England it was, as you would expect of any new commodity, extremely expensive.
It was kept under lock and key and only the wealthy could afford to partake.
As years went by, British tea companies grew more and therfore supply met and exceded demand and so the English became a nation of tea drinkers. It was non alcoholic, safe (due to the boiling of the water) and delicious.
In the early days, High tea was an upper class, generally but not speciffically female, afternoon gathering.
Nowadays, drinking tea is considered an "any time or place" activity. Its a classless drink that you could share with a homeless guy or the Queen.....

How do you make the perfect cuppa'?

First you need some British blend tea bags. Boil a kettle of water and , when boiling, fill a mug adding one teabag and nothing else to start. Allow the tea to brew a little. You can stir the mug a little to speed things up a bit. Next add a small amount of milk. Dont make the mistake of putting too much in. Your tea should be opaque but NOT too milky. Next, remove the tea bag and stir. If you like sugar in your coffe you will probably like sugar in your tea too..... me? no sugar for me thanks.

Hope that helps...... Tea? ....luverly..

No there is no low tea. There is simple tea, which would be a cup of hot tea and cookies or cake. A "high tea" is when tea is served, made fresh from tea leaves, with sugar, milk or cream, and lemon. Also served is a great variety of small finger foods, such as finger sandwiches, and a variety of cakes, cookies and other pastrys. High tea is usually served in the early afternoon, because the English who, started the tradition, eat later in the evening. It is a buffer between lunch and supper. The only people who had " high tea" were usually the well off, who could afford the expense. Which may be why it is called high.

A low tea is just cups of tea, milk and sugar, or lemon, and some cookies.
High tea is served with almost a whole meal: scrambled eggs or omelets, scones, muffins, perhaps some fruit compote or a fruit plate.

As a Kentucky resident, i will say that Kentucky, Mississippi and Arkansas have many extra homosexuals than different states. The extreme variety of homosexuals giving off 'gay rays' that truthfully breakdown classic society and marriages has, needless to say, convey approximately the inflated divorce expenses. We tried shifting them to California yet extra of them look to born familiar. I recommend what's a cow to do?
