About a year ago, I saw a segment of " Ripleys Believe it or Not " on TV & in this segment there was color film ( both old & new ) of this amazing handgun trick/sharpshooter who is apparently still demonstrating his quick draw, rapid fire & incredible accuracy today. I don't recall his name but I do recall that he was white, medium build, average height, dark hair, approx. 35-55 years old. Apparently he has been a famous trick/sharpshooter for many years & is still considered to be among the best Does anyone know any famous trick/ sharpshooters matching this description or the name of the trick/sharpshooter that I am referring to?? ?

cardsfan is quite correct.

I had the chance to see Mr. Munden give a shooting demonstration in person a few years ago.

An amazing display of marksmanship. And using different types and calibers of pistols too.

Also just a nice guy to walk up and talk too. Polite and friendly.

And as a sidebar. If the chance look at another man that does similar shooting with a longbow. Byron Ferguson. He is the Munden of archery shooting. Shoots dimes out of the air with a bow. Among other shots he is famous for.

Ed McGivern is probably one of the fastest shooters ever recorded on a time clock. I doubt this was him since he was alot older when he was around in the 30's-50's era.

He was clocked shooting 5 shots from a .38 special into a small group at about 15 feet in 3/8 of a second from first to last shot. Others recently have come about this close and they were using single actions guns instead of double action like McGivern.
