Is there anyone who could give me some information about the german impressionist painter Max Schlichting?

He was born in 1866 and died in 1937. I saw a painting of his in the Alte Nationalgalerie, in Berlin. It portrayed a young woman walking on the strand, and wearing a hat; unfortunately I can't recall the name of this painting. I would really like to know someting more about him, his life, and his works.

Schlichting, Max (painter, illustrator, and lithographer - Berlin , born June 16, 1866 in Sagan; German School. He studied in Berlin with W. Friedrich, Skarbina and E. Bracht and in Paris at the L'Academie Julian with Lefebvre et Ferrier. (from E. Benezit: Dictionnaire des Peintres, Sculpteurs, Dessinateurs et Graveurs.) ELEGANTES PAAR IM BALLSAAL (IMPRESSION AUS PARIS), 1900 - it depicts a woman out strolling in a hat.
