Not necessarily. It depends on how tall you are, what kind of bone structure you have, whether you have "developed" yet or not. The best person to help you determine that would be your Pediatrician.
If it is determined that you are overweight, then by watching the quantity of food you eat and the TYPE of food you eat (like candy, cakes, pop, etc.), as well as exercise, you should be able to control it. The doctor could also test you for things that may cause you to gain weight, like diabetes, if your thyroid is working correctly, etc.
With some people, such as a diabetic, having many small meals a day works for them (3 main meals and 2 snacks). With others, 3 small meals a day works. It all depends on how active you are. Also look into your family history on illness and any weight problems. There could be something there if you do have a weight problem.
Don't assume you do until a doctor clarifies it for you.

Dude... 110 pds means 55kg right ? and if ur 12 ur limit should be 50 butlook at urself ... are u a fattie ?? if not is okey ... In US all are obez and don t know whts overweight but in EU 50 kg ( multiply with 2.2 to get pounds - i aprox-) is for 12 y for 13 yr is 60 kg and for 14 is 70 and thats a good limit for all ages upward 80-90 after 20 yr... US is overweight... srry but s truth
