I have ocd (obsessive-compulsive disorder), an anxiety disorder, as well, so my list goes on and on too :) I'd say that my biggest pet peeve is drivers who talk on a cell phone and are consequently unattentive and a danger to society. Another is people that have to flaunt their 'popularity' by walking and talking on their cell phone while yelling in your ear as you are going about your day to day life.

I should also add the 'grammar pet peeve' as there was just a post the other day where the postee said how he or she couldn't understand how people could suggest 'grammer' revisions when they don't know basic 'grammer' ;)

I have a few pet peeves:

1. People smoking where smoking is forbidden - second hand smoke kills people also.

2. People talking in the movies - I came to watch the movie and not listen to your chatter.

3. People not saying thank you and please - politeness is important.

4. People going ahead of me on any line - if there is a special reason why they must go first, if they ask me, I will let them go ahead, but it's just mean and rude to push ahead without asking me.

5. Last but not least - I have seen on YA, people using terminology from the Holocaust (i.e. Nazis, Gestapo, Hitler Youth) to describe things and/or people they dislike on YA. This is very demeaning to the Holocaust victims and trivialization of the Holocaust - it should be remember with proper respect and not be used for slang.

Huh?...LOL! j/k...Hi Paige! My pet peeve is people not knowing where they are going!!! IE; when asking you for a ride. If I've gone out of my way to take you to your destination, then you better have a better answer than, " Well, I know it's around here somewhere?". My policy now is...if you can't give me an address/town, then step on out. I have literally left people 60 miles from home! Thanks for lettting me get that off my chest again! XOXO Moonpie

Mine is people that persist in minding everybody's business but their own. I have this every day with a man who is supposed to be our handyman. He doesnt live here, but he sits on our patio and yells at people going by because they annoy him. Even worse, he's an out and out racist, so people in the neighborhood think he speaks for the whole building. He doesnt. The only handy work I see him do is mow the little lawn we have once a week. I want to go downstairs and tell him to go back to his little house and bug his wife. Gee-that felt good. Thanks.

this is a really good question. there are acutally a few things that drive me crazy!!

-people that cut in front of you when your driving and make you fear for your life
-people that drive and smoke a cigarette, and talk on the phone at the same time
- BAD GRAMMER, i hate having to repeat myself
-people that dont pull their weight at work, and you have to do thier share so you dont get fired...

What sends me over the edge is how people run around like they are soooooo busy all the time. They act rushed and angry. They are on thier cell phones like they are in charge of the world.

I just can't imagine being so busy that I have to spread the aggravation on to others. I'd like to tell them to drop an obligation, chill out, and enjoy life a little more.

My pet peeve is to have someone interrupt me right in the middle of a sentence for some inconsequential poop that they just have to get out before I've finished talking.

Poor grammar and punctuation due to laziness, not necessary having to do with English being someone's second language. If you were raised here and have been schooled here, there is no excuse for not properly understanding and learning the correct way of speaking and writing. At least make an effort! Who cares if you make a few mistakes, but show that you're at least attempting to to use your brain.
