I'm soon to do community service with a friend,I'm a Junior in highschool but what should I do?

Me and my friend,would like to do something involve with animals.Or something involve with art.
What ideas can you suggest us to do.
Pets? ... Art? .. etc

go to your local humane society or animal shelter. they are always looking for volunteers. I'm really not sure about the art aspect you're looking for. Look at the classifieds or ask around and see if anyone is looking for volunteers. Good luck to you!!!

ok, there are so many things that you can do! First off, is it a requirement by your school or do you just desire being helpful? I suggest contacting your local town hall and asking them where you could plant flowers or trees. When you do this plant the flowers in a pattern that when standing or flying high above you can see the design. cool huh? or if its animal related go to a local shelter and ask them to let you get involved! also many cities have art groups, when you go to your town/city hall ask about local art groups that help paint the town!

if there is a petsmart in your town they have a volunteer system, and i think it might only be one or two saturdays a month (given its 4 hours though). you get to help feed, walk, wash etc the dogs and cats. you can also help tutor art sometimes...there is a GREAT website called www.volunteermatch.org that can help you find the perfect place to volunteer. you should check it out :D
