Of course they wouldn't.

They're followers, not thinkers, they want someone to tell them what to think and how to act. If they had been born in a Muslim, or Hindu, or Spaghetti Monster worshiper society, that's what they would have been.

I love the christians scrambling on this one talking about how jesus would somehow magically hit them up on their way to the mosque in Iraq. I don't see how you could possibly look at christianity as a free thinker and stay a christian.

If I were raised in another faith, outside the USA, I would probably stay in that faith. My conversion could take place because I was called. Jesus said that His sheep hear his voice. If He called, I could not deny Him.

In studying the Koran, I could learn of Jesus. He is discussed and his teachings are commended. The Koran presents the case against Christ's divinity in the form of a monologue. It says it is blasphemy to suggest the God is a physical being capable of 'begating' a son. ( I guess some Christians also have a problem here.) It says that Jesus didn't die on the cross but a substitute did. All I would have to do is think opposite of these teachings, and I would know the Christian side.

I answered a similar question yesterday, and I saw you posted an answer there as well. I will post my same response.

I would probably be a muslim had I grown up in a predominantly muslim environment. Especially if my parents were muslim. However, I love to learn and question religion. So, I know that I would have branched out and learned about other religions. Once I would have found Christianity, I would have gone with that. It makes so much sense to me. There is evidence out there regarding "proof" of God and Jesus. The problem is that some people just don't want to take the time to investigate it. We are here to find God. That is my mission in life because I feel that is why we are here. My mission would be the same if I were brought up muslim, but my mission would have taken me to Jesus Christ. I continue to grow in knowledge and faith to this day.

Yes, when I was younger, my family was Christian, but I was not religious. I researched all the religions, and flip-flopped through them for about a year, and finally realized Christianity was right. I would have done the same thing if I was born into a Muslim family.

There is a tremendous amount of power in truth, in that it can penetrate the heart of the individual.

Should God give the call, there is no amount of brainwashing, no religion, no ethnic or cultural experience that can separate you from the love of God. (even being an atheist)

So, no worries, no struggles. it is by the hand and will of God, not the energy or investment of man.

I truly hope so. I thank God that I was born here where we have the opportunity to study and learn about Christ and His divinity.
I would have sought the truth no matter where I had been born, but it would have been much harder to be allowed to find the Truth in some countries who don't have the freedom we do.

i believe that god would have called me to him even if i was a muslim, he wanted me, he chose me, no other religion could have stopped that inevitable force. when god starts to call us, he impresses upon us where we are supposed to go, in ours minds and hearts. it may have been a longer journey getting there, with different obstacles to overcome, but in the end i know that i would have made it, to exactly where i'm at now, it's where i'm supposed to be and nothing can change that, no amount of spiritual or non spiritual influence, could have kept me from where i belong.
