How many visit will it take to get my braces??

Question

I'm going in on Sept. 12th to get a consult, and if I decide to go ahead (which I will) they are going to go ahead and take the x-rays and molds on that same day. After this appointment, appoximately how long after can I expect to wait before they put the actual braces on?? Keep in mind I want to get this done as quickly as possible. Is it going to take a few weeks or a couple of months??? Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

Ok thanks for the help guys. So basically between the spacers and extractions ( which I only think I need like 2) I'm looking at having my braces on by the end of September at the latest??? All my fillings and stuff are already up to date. BTW...don't you usually have to wear the spacers for like a week??

When you go on september 12th they will do xrays and talk about your options. If you dont need anything done like extractions then the next appointment they will put the braces on. It will probally be about a week after your first consultation.

Appointment 1: consultation and examination
Appointment 2: extractions and spacers
Appointment 3: braces

So after you get your xrays and molds you'll get another appointment where they give you spacers so they can fit the molar bands around your teeth. then about a week after that you get the braces put on.

well about 2 or three. depending if you have a cavities or need fillings. Also if you have any heart problems or heart mumurs. i already have goten my x-rays and check up. tommorow i am getting my fillings. and on friday i am getting my braces!

BUT YOU GET IT THAT SAME DAY
