Thank you for the apology, and I apologize for the times when I tell Christians that they will simply decompose when they die. I took the wrong approach to atheism.
Your attitude is refreshing and should be held up as an example of Christianity - you just need to be a good person and not vindictive towards those that do not share your beliefs.
I just choose to use my own moral compass as a way of being a good human being, I believe there is no supernatural being in the sky who will judge me and I do not hold the fear of God.
Some people live their lives in fear of being judged and this is sad. People would be so much happier being cordial and pleasant to one another, rather than living in the fear that fundamentalist religion breeds.

Hell is for real, but getting on a forum like this and preaching damnation, well it is just wrong.
Heart felt Christianity is where we find God. He cares and loves in ways when we give up.
From friendship comes respect and the ability to openly and honestly share.
Some of the atheist are very cool people and I enjoy there humor.

Thank you, and it makes you and other xtians by association look less stupid, as you were commiting the falacy of using an argument from force anyway.
Jesus preached to the sinners, and did not use threats, but talked of the love and forgiveness of the Lord.
If I were you, and wanted to 'convert' atheists, I would simply try to have them engage in charitable actions and care for the needy. Some, or many, already do this, so *don't patronise*, but it would be an area of common ground where both parties could feel comfortable.
Instead of using threats of something they don't believe in, urge them to do something good in human fraternity? At least then you would have a better chance of gaining respect?

Go beyond apologizing and eliminate religion from Your Life.
DO this:
Have UnConditional Love and Peace by accomplishing this:
Create Your Relationship with Our Creator.
UnConditional Love and Peace is the only answer.

God is the one who says: If you don't believe, you will spend eternity in hell.....not us Christians....we simply agree with God. Nice move on your part, though. See ya in heaven :)

Brother, your conciliatory words are a fine example of Christianity in action. As Jesus taught us, "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." I know you've made Him happy as well. God bless you.

No problem but that is why your religion has so many members-scare tactics. Imagine 1000 years ago if someone would have told you you were going to hell, you would have believed it!

We are used to being condemned to the imaginary hell each day on here. However at least you've had the courtesy to apologise for making yourself a god and passing your own judgment.
