i started to recieve calls from this # and don't know how to stop it, it's a scam . when I pick up no one talk. when I call back to remove my phone # from the list; the answering machine is full.
Does anyone know how to report them or stop that. I really don't wanna change my phone #

Get yourself on the national do not call registry. It's free, and anyone who calls that's a telemarketer, can get fined. It'll take about 30 days for it to kick in, but once it does, no more calls.

2nd, you have a few options as far as I can tell. Definitely call your phone company and report the harrassment. There's a chance they might be able to block the phone # from reaching you. I wouldn't call the # back if I were you, because that shows them that when they call you, they're reaching a working number and it might lead them to just call you more. (just like how you should never reply to email phishing messages 'cause it shows they've reached a working email address) Also, next time they call, answer and even if no one talks when you answer, demand to be put on the do-not-call list. It is coming from Atlanta, GA however however unless they are told to follow the Do Not call list there really is not much you can do I don't know of a phone service that blocks phone calls like email blocks address. Best of luck.

It sounds like a scam and you did everything right. If you have not filled in a tax return H.M.R.& C. would not have your phone number. Even if you have filled in a tax return, providing a contact phone number is optional.They would already have your NI number. In my experience, the 'Revenue write to individual tax payers but may telephone the payroll department of a company. I have had this happen in my business.

I've been checking out this site that seems to record calls like this (because I have also received an increasing number of bogus calls to my cell) -- so annoying!!!

This is a SCAM and this site can prove it for any phone number. check it out, i just did it.

Call your phone company and tell them you want to block that # from calling you and they will tell you what to do.
