I am Christian , but I've noticed this one girl called "me" and "Ms. Lady" (both the same girl). She uses two avatars to boost her ratings and vote for herself, she spreads hate and intolerance and uses the guise of Christianity to back herself up.

I think she gives all Christians a bad name, Christians are not suppose to judge other people, but she does this frequently and takes bible passages to justify her hate and ignorance.

This is what she wrote about homosexuals...I do not condone their life style, but she posts things just to spread hate. I think she is a bad Christian.

Why do some Christians do this? Aren't we suppose to love everyone regardless of their life styles and not judge anyone?

And when a good christian says not to judge she jumps all over them and tells them that they are judging her.

I don't know if both are the same person, but if so, then it is not very ethical. But there are alot of people here that do the same thing.

"Why do some Christians do this?" I don't know...maybe insecurity in their own faith, so they have to lash out at everyone else? Maybe showing off about what they think they know? Some people just like to pick out certain verses out of the Bible without checking to see if a different later verse tells them something different. Example the "eye-for-a-eye" verse was later revised (by Jesus) to "turn-the-other-cheek". Too many people take verses that justify their way thinking without reading the entire chapter. Verses taken out of context can be extremely dangerous. Just ask the followers of Jim Jones and David Koresh.

Hi Tori S,

I am a youth pastor and one thing i always tell my kids at church is that the only person you have control over is yourself.

The only person i am going to give an account for when i stand before God is myself. It bewilders me sometimes when people who are supposed to love God act in ways that are unseemingly. But with humility i also remember that there are times that i fall very short of what God wants for me and thank Him for His grace.

One thing as a Christian is that when we realize someone who claims Christ is not acting very Christ-like the Bible tells us to warn them and to seek their restoration. In other words to find ways to encourage them to do what they ought to be doing.

The Bible also does instruct us that we need to make sure we are walking well and have the right heart- before we point out everyone else's faults (removing the plank from our own eye).

i don't think she was "judging people" but just sharing the truth- she probably could have been a little less confrontational.

Judging in the Bible doesn't mean that we don't tell people what's truthful. Judging is to pass final judgment on someone (like in a courtroom- when the judge passes down the verdict)-- ultimatley that is Christ's job - so we don't judge in the sense that just because someone is a certian way- doesn't mean that they can't change especially with God's help. That's why thieves, tax-collectors, prostitutes (as recorded in the Bible) could turn from their lives of sins- to lives that please God.

Hoping that both you and this lady can continue to glorify God with your lives.

Kindly,

Nickster

Anyone who used Bible verses to justify hate isn't taking the whole Bible in to context. Cults that claim to be Christian usually base their whole belief system on one or two verses and that is wrong.

However, she quoted truth in her statement. I don't see her spreading hate. I see her spreading God's truth. Homosexuality is wrong. I never once saw her say that she "hated" gays.

By the way, any gay that states that they were born that way and cannot physically change back to heterosexuality is giving you a lame excuse. That theory was disproven years ago. Gays are finding the truth and converting back all the time.

i could no longer agree greater. i could warning against such oversimplification however. all and sundry's a sprint different alongside with christians. you need to discover maximum of those individuals in each faith, be it Muslim, Hindu, Buddhism, in spite of. it isn't the religion, it is the individuals. @the Christian: merely wow. wow............. thank you to make christians seem ignorant. it sounds like Gandhi knew lots greater approximately Christ than you probably did. Gandhi became a lover, no longer a hater. kinda like Christ ideal???

The bible says "when ye judge judge righteous judgement. You judged some things in your statement even.
