I worked for a construction company for a while 5 years ago. While on location digging a ditch to run conduit to an out building, a truck pulled up and three obviously illegal immigrants got out and offered to due the digging for half of what the contractor was paying the two of us. This was neither the first or the last time that happened. I get tired of explaining that the illegals drive wages down for everyone in construction.

Dear American Cousins, I made similar answers to the ones you have all given and I was rewarded with a violation notice. Try to tell the truth and you will be pulled up but, support the immigrants, and you will be a straight A Citizen.

I am 50 yrs old. I can see it hurting mine. They can get state help through medicaid and I can't and I am disabled and limited income, over limit only $ 17.00. If I had several kids,as some of them, and worked only contracted jobs they wouldn't know how much was made and would be eligible for food stamps, health help, and probably a check, and more, They get more jobs, the buy cheap cars and talk them down and take back to Mexico to sell, they get more jobs even in companies.
We are paying taxes for them to live here, they aren't. We are really helping to support them and our state and government says there is NO money!!!! They are using too much for immigrants. I really get irritated when I go to get help with my limited income and see them driving better vehicles and dressed better than me. I could go on-----sorry.
I can't even pay all my medical bills and regular bills and can't work.

Illegal immigration gives those middle- upper classes the right to own slaves.

Think about it. Just because they get paid does not mean it isn't slavery.

It's very hard to find a job in the construction field and compete with illegals and cheap labor.

IT is not destroying my life but it is annoying the hell out of me. Press for English, wading through the Spanish instructions to find mine, trying to communicate with all the Hispanics employed by companies when you call with a problem, paying higher taxes to school their children, Even more pants showing cracks of @sses and over all rise in crime rate. Other than that, I love 'em.

With all the trash they are filling my once beautiful desert with (and there is a hell of a lot of it!). I see it daily. I carry a gun when I walk. They are LAW BREAKERS for God's sake!!!! I don't break our laws. Don't expect me to like, support or in any way back those who do and do so with blatant disrespect!

It is pretty much destroying the middle class. With rampant illegal immigration the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Simple as that.
