Can anyone suggest any home remedies ( such as baking soda, etc..), shampoos, conditioners, or treatments that will fix the damage and will allow me to continue straightening my hair?

Honestly you will keep damaging your hair if you keep straightening it. What you probably need to do if you can is go to the stylist and have them just trim you hair to get off the dead ends, also have them do a deep condition, it makes ur hair look gorgeous and so renewed~ (go to a beuaty school if you want a cheaper option.) Now if you MUST continue straightening your hair and hiding those curls or locks use a product by tressemme that is a spray that is you spray on ur hair before you straigten in it protects ur hair from the heat.

Hey well , the first thing u should do is stop straightening everyday!!!!!I treally damages your hair alot, and it's going to get worse. Then go to a beauty supply where they sell all those hair products, and get a shampoo and conditioner for damage hair and try to use it not daily cuz it damages your scalp but pretty often. And let your hair free, also u can try eggs!!!

Use a leave in conditioner. Get your hair cut every 2 month will prevent split ends. Your hair is loosing moisture when you straighten it. Give your hair a break on the weekends or when you don't go out and dont' straighten on those days. Good luck.

Try a hair mayonnaise/cholesterol every week. Apply heat over a shower cap when you do it for about 10-15 minutes. And try to let your natural hair shine! Wet it, braid it, sleep, and unbraid it in the a.m. Waves are in. And put some mousse in it when you wet it to be sure it holds.

Try Aveda Damage Control.
I've lately also started rubbing olive oil on my ends and it seems to look healthier.

you shouldnt do it every day. They make sprays you can use before you straighten it. Egg and milk will make your hair softer leave it in for a few then rinse it out

as do i. use john freida deep conditioning goo stuff. its cheap and you buy it for your hair color. do it twice a week.

so, like... shampoo, then deep condition then condition, then when you get out and your hair begins to dry use suave sleek its in a orange bottle, or biosilk.

milk and eggs, or lemon juice but lemon juice often changes the color of your hair unless your a blonde.
