Try a color rinse - it should come out true to color since you are starting from a light color. You can try that until your hair strngthens up some more (2 months or more to ensure it's okay). And a heads up - the rinse will probably leave deposits in your hair, so get a color you are okay with for right now because chances are if you switch them up, the color will come out drastically different! Good Luck.
Hint - try a color close your natural color for now. And with the next dye, choose a different hairdresser... One with popularity in your area for doing a good job.

You can try wearing a wig for a couple months, so that your hair is hidden and that it won't get damadged from heat, chemical, straigthening, etc. but still continue shampooing, and conditioning it ever 2 days, this way your hair will restore its natural beauty. Also i suggest you visit some type of professional, because it sounds like this woman does not knw that much about hair, she only knws the obvious.

Go back to that beauty shop and demand either your money back, or make them cut and condition it whereas you can live with it for the time being!
