Leesha is corrrect - it is spelled "acqua".

In Italian, a noun must always be preceded by either an article ["the"] or an adjective, for example "some".

In the case of "acqua", a feminine noun, the article is "la" which is abbreviated to l' because acqua starts with a vowel, giving l'acqua.

"Some water" is "dell'acqua".
