economically speaking it is a given - if you look at inflation during the end or after a war you will see that . actually I am surprised it hasnt caught up with us yet being that the bonds sold at the beginning of the war were short term treasuries which have to be paid back sooner (big mistake ) and the price of gasoline has been so high for so long - Unbiased inflation is inevitable and with banks crying for liquidity it could really spell disaster for us -

How do you mean "catch up with us"? Do you mean having terrorists attack us on American soil? That has already happened, before Iraq, several times.

Absolutely, it will catch up with us.

"You will reap what you sow." We are giving charity; hospital supplies, building schools, building roads, building electrical and water treatment plants. We are giving to kids and the weak. We are protecting the weak and a fledgling democracy. Such is the American spirit and that of our individual soldiers. (See my blog series "Hardened Warriors" and "Good News")

We are sacrificing for the protection of American and Iraqi civilians and they have already demonstrated respect for us and sacrificed to save our soldiers. They are telling us where Al-Qaeda is and in one case a civilian gave his life to protect 4 of our soldiers from a suicide bomber (again see my blog: article "Wow! Perhaps they really do hate us?"

NO politics. Just the groundtruth from one that has BEEN THERE.
