My leaving out "whole" was purely intentional. Need you ask why? It has been answered. All is One

Holiness represents a purity of heart, of mind, of spirit. But to be wholly exclusive of relationships (as nuns, priests and other holy persons are inclined to be), means limiting the experience of being human. I do not agree with that way of life. Holy = Wholly. Walk as a spiritual being owning a complete sense of our humanity, our Oneness.

You have stated the accepted definition - but understand that it is the word "WHOLE" that is relevant to someone being regarded as holy.
Every subconscious or dissociated part of the egoic self and authentic Self has been dealt with, i.e. discarded or integrated. The person is wholly awake and detached from ego influences - "perfection of disinterest" in egos has been stabilized. And, unity with the external reality reflects this internal wholeness.

In saying at the back of each great guy stands a great lady is a correct fact.. yet i do no longer think a guy or lady want one yet another to be referred to as total. as a rely of reality. it would be suicide for 2 people to get right into a dating with the two of them being something much less then total. God does point out them transforming into one flesh yet under no circumstances says they want one yet another to be total. so a techniques as you perceiving the bible as indicating a guy as being socially dominate over a woman . i might j only say your reading it incorrect and want extra enter from a mature believer.... desire that helped answer your question... God bless !

Holiness is Saint. God tells us to be Holy (us who are washed in His blood) because God is Holy.
Holy means set apart, clean, trusting & obeying God. God is Holy. That is why our sins separate us from God.
When we receive the atonement for our sins, then we are washed clean from all our sins. Then we also wash in the Word renewing our minds in Gods Word. This is cleansing our wrong thinking.
Also, holiness is part of perfect religion to Father God. To God, perfect & undefiled religion to go is to visit the widows & orphans & to keep self from sinful living. Keeping self from sinful living is holiness.
Holiness is pure, undefiled & set apart. So holiness is being a saint. Holiness is God. There is no one like God.
Also to consider the Holy Spirit who anoints everyone born of God. This is the seal of God. And is Holy.

"Holiness":
Means for one to become whole.
When one becomes Whole, one sees the Wholeness within others.
When one has become Whole then one will treat others as they would want to be treated.
They see the "Light of God" within all beings.
It is mans birthright to become Whole.
This is why man was sent on this sojourn to this place called earth!
