I have known this girl for almost a year and we hang out whenever she in on campus because she has to commute through MARTA everyday. I always walk her to MARTA and she decided one day to just go to Underground Atlanta with me while we waited for the train. She is not MY deluded vision of a perfect woman but there is something about her. This feeling came out of nowhere 3 days ago and it hasn't left me. We're both single. How should I approach this situation? I just don't know.

I also flirt/joke around with her about romance and she kind of giggles. For example: Someone asked, "Are you two friends?", and I said, "No, we are more than friends. We have 3 kids...". She looked at me and playfully punched me in the leg and giggled.

I would say just keep spending time with her....you could even bring up the subject of being in a relationship with her when you guys are talking and see where her mind is at in terms of being in one. How does she act around you?? Does she seem to like you too? If so that'll make it a little easier to approach her about it. Do you act just like a friend or do you flirt with her and show romantic interest? Maybe one day take her to eat and just let her know that you like her alot thats always innocent and see how she responds. If it seems like she isn't shying away from you the more romantic you get with her thats a good sign :) GOOD LUCK!

Guess what? You are experiencing what the best marriages have, a friendship. Take it slow and do not rush it. Give her time to experience what she is feeling, if anything. Continue to take the Marta with her and step by step it will grow. At some point, the subject of your relationship will come up.

What's the worst that can happen if you tell her you want to try to be more than friends...if she says no, or she's not interested then you are in no worse a place than you are now.

Just tell her, or else some other guy may sweep her out from under you.

it depend on both of you. ask some of her friends about the girls feeling for you. if the feeling is mutual then go for it.... just be true to what you feel.... tell her that you like her and if the both of you can have a more than friend relationship. :)

go for it before it's too late.... girls don't tell what they feel unlike boys so you must do the first move.

Suggest meeting up for a drink, see how she responds. If she excepts take her somewhere nice, she should realise you would like to be more than just friends.

This nobody knows. But better it will be for you to let things come out themselves rather pushing them to come.
