You have to become a world class expert in some subject of worldwide importance. It could include finance, international investing, international trade, helping countries solve problems, diplomacy, public health, disease prevention, negotiation, terrorism, global warming, etc. Then you can help people all over the world and they will pay you good money for it.

trade show coordinator. great money, lots of travel. you can start in a great office and eventually if you stay with the same company long enough you can work from home, if you choose to.

What is your field of expertise / aptitude ?
If you have none yet, go for a Master's degree in International Banking .
