I am one of those "YAHOOS" mentioned in the previous answer! I'm not a physician but am a biochemist. Is your plan to increase your dose of cipramil the suggestion of your prescribing physician or is it your own idea? The dose should only be increased with the advice of a doctor. The side effects, you mentioned sweating, go away usually after a time. It takes time for the effect of the drug to be noticed.

The tenderness of your scalp is probably not a side effect of the drug but you might mention it to your doctor. No SSRI Drug (cipramil is one) is a silver bullet for eliminating depression. It takes concurrent effort on your part to change your habits of thinking from predominately negative to positive. Concurrent psychotherapy helps change.

Hope this helps, good luck, good health, peace and love!

Not without approval of YOUR doctor first. You don't need to get medical advice from some "YAHOOS", and you don't want it. Cipramil is one of the newer drugs and may take a little to get your dosage correct. Again see your doctor.
