All I have to say about Christianity in the military is - if my life was on the line NOBODY would tell me if I could pray. I would be joining hands with fellow Christians and reminding the Lord that He said where 2 or 3 are gathered together in His name there He would be also. In battle, I want the Lord with me and if He is with me, who can be against me?

You young people in the military who are Christian - join hands and ask Jesus to protect you everyday. Bind the enemy in the name of Jesus. Rebuke the thoughts of fear that Satan puts in your head. You remember one thing and that is "He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world."
"If Christ be for you, who can be against you."

Every member of the military should be free to practice their religion or to NOT practice a religion as long as their practices (or lack of ) are not disruptive, illegal etc.

Since military personell aren't free to come and go as ordinary citizens are, I have absolutely NO problem with military chaplains to support the chosen spiritual paths of military members.

However RELIGION should not be shoved down anyone's throat as is happening. And if the military is going to provide spiritual support for Christians, they should provide it for others as well.

I think it is absolutely disgusting that every faith symbol BUT Wicca was available for grave markers, and the Wiccan pentagram only became available after 10 years of playing games with the VA and the threat of a lawsuit.

I also think it is disgusting that a US politician went on an active witch hunt in the military, attempting to make it illega for Wiccans in the military to practice their faith (Bob Barr) and that our commander in chief, Bush Jr, agrees with curtailing the rights of Wiccans in the military to practice their faith.
