In terms of writing the Bible is hardly well scripted and paced. The characters are one-dimensional and the narrative is fuzzy and unfocused. Whether or not it is fiction is whether or not you have the faith to completely disregard the rhems and rhems of scientific evidence that disproves many of the stories that occur within the Bible, especially the old testament. Personally I don't, but others unfortunately follow it blindly. If the Bible said water isn't wet people would most likely believe it.
I would compare the Bible in terms of writing to a simple morality tale designed for children. The structure and language used (at least at the time it was written) is designed to be very direct and to-the-point. Over the years our way of speech has changed drastically but the Bible, in general, hasn't adapted to this. There are several words in the Bible that have long since fallen out of the lexicon of modern speech. This leads to a lot of misinterpretation (or rather self-interpretation).
Comparing the two together, I'd prefer Noggin the Nog simply because it's a more pleasant read.

Quite a sneaky way of saying that the Bible is fiction. I don't agree with your premise. Therefore, for me, this is not a valid question.
I wonder how may consider 'Noggin the Nog' and 'the Clangers' great works of fiction. I have never heard of them. Are you sure that you read these works of fiction on Planet Earth? Sorry, but I just couldn't help adding that last sentence !!

I don't know what Noggin the Nog is but the Bible is a great work of fiction. I mean those wild stories to oceans parting and bringing the dead back to life...where did they come up with this stuff? What wild imaginations!

Not so well, because it has too many contradictions and the scientific knowledge in it is far inferior to mine at age 6 or 7. It needed a good proofreader. What can one expect when an ignorant shepherd tries to copy a pharoah's radical new religion and has an inferior intellect? Then, other ignorant and illiterate men added stuff to it that they copied badly from religions of nearby nations. Shakespeare it is not.

Not sure where you get your information, but you need one more reliable, because you're sadly mistaken. (Do you have a real source? Please add the link. That would be helpful.) The Bible is true, and is in fact, the best-selling non-fiction book in history!

The bible is basically an auto-biography of sorts not a work of fiction silly. You should read it and than you might understand the difference between the two.

I imagine that no one ever told you that the bible wasn't a work of fiction. I wish your mom would've followed some of the bibles teachings.. perhaps then you would be fiction.
