GM TheftLock radios only lock out if somebody turned that feature on and made a code. I've installed thousands of GM cars and disconnected the battery. Never have had one lock out.

The radio launch code can purely be won by employing a GM broking or a Delco Radio provider center. Sorry. I dont layout them, build them or smash them.....I merely could desire to restoration them.

Buy one of these gizmo's online or at parts stores to prevent it in the future----http://www.amazon.com/CTA-Tools-Computer-Memory-Saver/dp/B000GKD5Q0
It plugs in your cigarette lighter port and uses a 9 volt battery to power your computer and radio during battery removal to save their memory settings.
