As describe din the Bible? No. A purposeless, endless existence of worshipping a god who needs to establish an awful lot/trial like that for his own creations? no longer a raffle. If there have been A heaven - an existence that allowed the two unfastened will and freedom of decision yet in a international without soreness or difficulty? probable - yet what can the human ideas do to deal with eternity? Immortality is a plenty longer time than people can incredibly understand. On stability, in all probability few to no possible recommendations of heaven that does no longer finally end up the two with no lead to sight tedious or pointless are attainable.

Fear of the unknown. Feeling confident in your belief you will "get to heaven" does not make up for the human emotion of fear of the unknown. I can be totally confident that I have a literature test tomorrow and confident I will do well but I am still nervous about it as it is unknown how I will do. Maybe a better anaology is that I am sure I am going to New York City but if I have never been to NYC before then I may be a little fearful of it. We all know what NYC is like but there is an even greater element of the uknown when talking about what happens after you die.

I think people are afraid of dying because it is the great unknown. Different belief systems can tell you what they believe the after life will be like, some may quote from the bible about it, some don't believe there is an afterlife. It's individual. When we face anything totally not knowing what the outcome will be we become afraid. I am not afraid because I trust in my belief system.

I'm not afraid of dying, I accepted Jesus as my Savior Jan, 27, 1975, and I'm now 53 years old.
I KNOW where I'm going and I have No fears at all.
I think maybe, people hate to leave their loved ones behind, or they worry about them. Or what will happen to them, more then the fear of death. But if you truly believe in Jesus, and your family and friends are saved, you will all be together again someday in heaven.
I hope this helps, and that I explained it correctly to you as best as I could,. GOOD QUESTION !

Because although you can spend eternal life in Heaven, your time on Earth is short. And I think not all people are afraid of dying. My Grandmother wasn't afraid of dying because she new she was going to Heaven, and my Grandfather would be there.

Many people that believe in God do not fear dying. Instead, we see death as a celebration of a new life. It's going to be like starting all over in a better place... heaven is going to the best place that you could imagine.

I do not think we are necessarily afraid of dying so much as the way in which we die. it is natural that we want to live because we are programmed that way and even those in terrible pain wish to live if only the pain could be taken away. Those who are terribly disabled want to live if the handicap was eliminated or greatly improved. Those who wish to die have just given up hope

I'm not afraid of the "after" bit of dying because I know I'm going to Heaven. It's the thought of pain & stopping breathing I'm not so keen on.

Those who are deeply involved in worldly pursuits are afraid of dying but for those who are at peace with God have nothing to worry. But basically, it is the affinity with your nears and dears and unaccommplished tasks that makes people unwilling to dye with pleasure.Without the distinction of cast and creed, the life in paradise is promised for everyone in the next world;as such there is reason for worry.

They are scared because they place excessive attachment to what they have, especially towards their loved ones. They are also scared of the process of dying, which could spread over a longperiod of time and it's unpredictable to them. People who believe in God and heaven are generally people who need lots of assurance of their future, even "after-life future".
