I am trying to lose about 10 pounds and lose body fat percentage. Would it be better for me to run 45 minutes at a 7:30 km/h pace or would it be better to run 30 minutes at a 6:45 km/h pace?

Well, 30 minutes at 6:45km/h will be the easiest. I think your question really meant:
Run 45 mins at 6:45km/hr OR 30 mins at 7:30 km/hr. You got the time and distance mixed up.
In which case, I always run slower for a longer duration. It helps build a lot of things, like stamina. I am not sure about weight loss, it might be better to run faster but shorter.

YOur body burns glycogen for about the first 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, and doesn't adjust to burn fat until then. So if your goal is weight loss, I'd suggest you run longer. You would even be better off slowing a bit and running for a full hour.

Good Luck

At such close times for your different paces I would recommend the 30 minute run. You will put more stress on all muscle groups involved but limit your chances for injury.

Slower to change your body composition (burn more calories). Faster to increase endurance (push muscles harder and increase lung strength). Or switch off so that you don't get burnt out. Stay hydrated. You could lose 2-5 pounds by relieving your self of all body waste.

For bypass usa you're able to desire to run at a slower %. the place you do not could desire to constantly end because of the fact whilst your working a 5k you won't be in a position to extremely bring about the midst of the race. For my favourite prepare for bypass usa my coach makes us run 5-7 miles familiar and he does not enable us to end to sit down down back, he merely says to sluggish all the way down to an exceptionally sluggish jog if we could desire to.
