Moose hunting help ?? I have a moose permit for a hunt in Vermont.?

I have been a small game hunter for several years. I also hunt deer. I have never hunted moose. i'm looking for answers as to how to make a good moose call or where to find one. I eneterd the moose hunt lottery and got a permit. would like to bag a moose . just need all the information i can get to make this a sucessful hunt. thankyou hunters for your support.

You first need to know what is allowed, in the line of calls.
Do they allow digital calls where you hunt.
Check the hunting regulations where you are hunting to see what is allowed.

If you have to use hand calls I would also get some DVDs on training how to use the calls.

Congrats on the moose tag. You'll need several things before you can start your hunt. Before hand you'll have to decide what part of VT you will be hunting. The have some big moose up in the Northeast Kingdom, big woods too so you'll need a good map, a gps comes in handy too. You have to be prepared to do some walking.
