Last year it was crappy at first then it got wickid awsome at the end of the year any one know if theres going to be any suggnifficunt snowfall a farmers almanac link would be great

Snow will be good in Quebec, VT, and ME after January and then get lousy again around mid-March. Snow quality in the Poconos will be lousy all season. ADK and Catskills will be sketchy.
How do I know? I grew up in the Poconos. The year I moved and the following year were great snowmaking conditions and there was massive storm the weekend I moved out. I moved out of VT (back to the Poconos) last October and then look what happened in February. Of course there was no snow when I hit MRG and K-Mart the last week of January.
Bottom line...it will be good skiing wherever/whenever I can't get there.

I think it is going to be a good season. So far it has been dry this seseon up here in VT. I think we will make up from the lack of rain fall w/ more snow. I remember last summer being wet and then in the early winter we got like no snow. It has also been a cooler summe...I never had to plug in the A/C like last summer, so i think when it snows it should stick instead of that damn thaw we had in December of last year. We had frickin thunderstoms in DECEMBER!!?? So i am predicing a great year of skiing in the east. But if it sucks like it did last season. you can always get that skiing fix by going out west for a few days.

www.farmersalmanac/weather.com is where you want to look. I live in the East, Massachusetts, only 2 hrs from New Hampshire. I don't know about skiing, but N.H. always has good skiing. We do to in this state, Snow fall is supposed to be good this year. Because of the unusual weather this year, fronts & all, they say we are going to get a lot of snow. Anyway, check this site & you should have your answer. Have fun

For some reason, I feel a decent year coming up. I don't think it will start off great but with el nino dying down it should be better than before
