I let my 18month old cat out during the day. She usualy runs up to me when i arive home, though last night she didnt come home which was strange for her. This morning i found her on the back deck covered in kerosence and bleading from her vigina.I've washed her and got most off though i think she will need another bath tomorrow to make sure. She is still bleeding from her vigina though. Do you think its a coincidance and shes on heat? Or could it be caused by the kero? I havnt a clue how she got the kero over her. She is also refusing to eat or drink and is moving slow and acting dopy. When she is usually a playful thing. I am taking her to the vet tomorrow. Any information or advice would help thank you.

Oh my gosh, that brought me to TEARS! That's so Sad! Good thing you are taking her to the vet! It's a good Idea....is tomarrow the EARLIEST you can get her in? I think it was an act of crulety by a human. I wouldn't let her outside, until you get home and lock your doors and windows, so no one can break in. DO you live by any neighbors who could have done this? Report it to the authorities, Please.....and please, try and take her somewhere ASAP......I don't think she's in heat, or coming into it, no....Why would she go around that anyway? (Gasoline) Oh my goodness! My heart goes out to you dear. I have a 4 month old Kitten, and a 14 year old cat. I don't know what I would do if something like that should happen to mine....my 14 year old goes out all the time, but my 4 month old is always inside. Perhaps purchasing her a cage with her food and water in it, and comfy covers until you can get her to the vet? (I wouldn't close the cage though, incase she has to go to the bathroom) Good Luck to you. You both are in my prayers!

It's not a good idea to ever let your cat freely roam around outdoors without your supervision (in my opinion). People can be cruel, and there are a lot of people out there who, for some reason, hate cats. It sounds like your cat was purposely harmed. You need to take her to a vet right away. I'm so sorry this happened.

Kerosene is a poison and she's not only been doused with it, letting it absorb through the skin, but also probably tried to groom herself and ingested it. You're going to loose her to this if the vet doesn't do a check on how her organs are functioning and treat accordingly. It may be too late to save her, if she was drenched then it's a very serious thing her body has to try to deal with.

GO to your vet today maybe it was a human who abuse your cat, call the authorities and report this, if she is not drinking water she is going to died, try some pedyalite this is a drink for babies you'll find it on the supermarket and force her to drink every 2 or 3 hours go to your vet, Run for her life. Good luck.

It sounds like your cat was tortured and almost killed. No I don't think the bleeding is from heat, I think your cat was brutally harmed. Be sure to take to the vet today!
