I am spirtual. I believe there has to be something out there that designed all this, it works too good. Look at all the life systems they are a very organized process. Your body or a leaf, such a system. How could that be random?
It doesnt mean that evolution isn't correct. Evolution is part of God's process. Whats so hard for you ignorant Christians to understand?
It doesn't mean that there is a boogie man in the sky that made Adam who took his rib and made a woman and they ate an evil apple and then there was a snake and thats why they have to feel guilty about having sex.. (Unless the rib part was a cloning process).
I have nothing but the worst contempt for the Christian religion and all other religions that are self-serving in thier hypocritical narrow-minded beliefs that brainwash their members and whip them into a frenzy using guilt as the paddle. They are immoral, have a history of evil and in no way have anything to do with a creator or loving God.

Greetings! I am a Unitarian Universalist, a belief system that has many different ideologies. My grassroots are in the protestant-fundamental Christian church, but I no longer practice Christianity.
Having said that, I am a lover of society. I can do lots of different jobs, but I am a Preschool teacher. I love my job because I can make a difference every day.
I love and care deeply for my family. I also care about my society. I want to applaud when there is a success story I hear (providing that success story doesn't involve climbing over the backs of others to get to that point).
It's weird, but sometimes I have more thought and hope for life than some fundamentalists whose only hope in the world is for it, the world to end and they can go to their maker and watch everyone else march to hell.
No, I am not really religious, but I do believe in eternal life. Eternal life to me is where my actions are instilled in others, and that gets passed on to another, who passes it on to another.....and thus my spirit lives on. That is what gives me worth in this world.
I hope this makes sense. Take care.

Great question. I would have to say that i am more spiritual than religious. My spirituality will get me into heaven before my religion.

I am spiritual. I hope there is a benevolent force (aka God) that takes care of everything in a loving, all-knowing way. I have not, however, seen evidence that it exists. Kinda of like aliens. Maybe they are out there, but for now, I have no proof either way.
But I do believe in the magic of our Earth and all her life-giving forces. I can see her, touch her creations, and be a part of her goodness. The Earth makes me spiritual.

I am more spiritual. While I am actively involved in an organized form of religion, it is difficult for me to always deal with man made rules and liturgy. So much of organized religion judges people - good/bad, right/wrong - in ways that I don't believe God had anything to do with.
I think organized religion can be very limiting. Separating groups of people for no reason. I believe this question is timeless and that most of us face it at different points during our life.
I wish you well on your journey.
Grace, Peace & Love,
T

Spiritual. I considered myself a mystic untill in church I heard that was wrong. I want to call myself a christian by definition even though I do not like many conservative beliefs because the church also states "being a christian is believing in Jesus" and I worship Jesus. I am obviously confused. I think I may come to being a "follower of Jesus". The church has also told me that Jesus brought relegion! I'm just going in circles.
